The Passerby Poem by Aez NewHeller

The Passerby

When I ruminate the memories we had
I feel a little sad, but i feel more glad.
I'm glad for what had transpired,
I realized that it's fun to be inspired.

There's that incomparable serenity,
That I had found only in his company.
I terribly miss that guy, don't you think?
I desperately wish for him to be here in a blink.

I miss that side of his shoulder where I used to rest on;
Too bad he wasn't meant to stay here with me for long.
I miss his hands that perfectly fit mine,
But I guess our destiny just aren't in line.
