To thine own self, be true and bold,
With virtues deep and traits of gold.
In heart and mind, we each admire,
Bravery and justice that inspire.

Truthfulness and honesty we prize,
Humility, piety in our eyes.
Altruism and kindness, too,
Yet often, we stray from what is true.

One day, a test will come your way,
To walk the talk, come what may.
To do what's right, despite the odds,
To stand by values, not facade.

To influence others, lead the way,
First change yourself, don't delay.
Be the change you wish to see,
Live the truth, set your soul free.

If you want the world to be bright,
Do your part, and do it right.
Let it begin with your own heart,
Practice the ideals you wish to impart.
