The Pauper Who Became King Poem by Usama Maymun

The Pauper Who Became King

Rating: 4.5

Now he is ready to show his true face,

to be received in society,

with his newly acquired status,

and a pocket filled with gold coins,

he feels not ashamed anymore,

he can show his laughing face,

and take all the liberties he wishes,

without any fetters or qualms,

for he is the king now,

and a king need not be humble.
