The Peace They Always Spoke Of Poem by Quevedo Castillo

The Peace They Always Spoke Of

The day you turned away
a single drop of rain fell
A miserable fish was left in the sea
And the moon pointed to only one place
My blood
stopped flowing
When your eyes looked at me
so deep
they blinded me
Blind
And blind
the sky looks at me
Were you really you
that man who
no matter how much harm he did
remained my peace
Would you still be you
You are peace
The only peace I know
For the only peace I was made
Pull my hair
Pain was a gift to me
Only that way could I live
I truly liked it
Because
that was my peace
I'm screaming
because to me it's singing
I'm crying
because to me it's laughing
You're killing me
because you truly love me
and I love you
Because you are you were and I hope you no longer are
my peace that peace
