The Penguin Poem by Will Thompson

The Penguin

A bird so small, yet so tall
It can never reach the sky
Though it flaps its wings so high,
It can never touch the clouds and make them fly.
Its feathered grace, like beauty sublime
Cannot reach any greater heights
So stuck in life, despite all its might
It simply remains confined
Though it uses all its fight,
It has only the ground to find.
