The Pensioner Before Welcoming Spring Poem by noor e fatiha

The Pensioner Before Welcoming Spring

Come Spring come
And spread yourself
Among us all
And cure my health.

Not did i forget
The last notable mirth
Of all of this town
And of all of its earth.

Let me ask,
Shall you not near?
We'll welcome you
With the best of cheer!

Now do i wish
To see you fall as rain
And meld yourself
In my frail veins.

Come Spring come
And spread yourself
Among us all
And cure my health.
