The people came unto Joshua the Messiah and asked of him, What is the secret to life eternal?

Then Joshua, gazing at the people, said with a gentle voice, Believe in eternal life, and you shall have it so.

And one from the crowd of people said, Surely this man speaketh falsely. Certainly there is more to eternal life than he has spoken to us.

And Joshua, being gracious and calm, replied, Without belief in eternal life there is nothing else which will manifest in you life eternal.

And a mad man said, You have a devil, you demon. You are but a child in the ways of wisdom.

But the Holy One spake unto them again and said, Ask of me anything and I shall tell you the truth.

The same man asked him, What is the true secret to life eternal?

Joshua responded calmly, I have already told you, and you would not believe. How can you then ask of me, what is the secret to life eternal?

And again Joshua uttered his voice:

Many of you eat the fruits of haberdashers and profit little. But if you ate from the tree of righteous men and in your hearts were grateful, you would live life eternally.
For if you can't receive and believe the simple things, how will you manifest the great things, which are from Heaven?

Most of the crowd went away confused and sad. But some among them thankfully believed on him.

The foundation of Joshua is true. And I the Holy One testify of these things. And what I say is true.
