The Perceiver Poem by Satish Verma

The Perceiver

Becoming you,
I perceive your face─
in body swap.

*

The stakes were
high, when I missed the moon,
in the desert chase.

*

The soul
was trapped in an earthen pot,
while catching the shadows.
