The Perfect Night
Waves of moonlight from your eyes
Sliced and diced through clouds of lies
The sky was an ocean of silky light
Rumbling, endless, mesmerizing, white
And it slowly caressed the trees
Rivered through the earth and seas
Remember that night
When your eyes were waves of moonlight?
