The path to where we are was cold with blazing flames,
Scorching frostbite, murderous winds blowing, too.
It will always be this way, this life of deadly games,
And there's no one I'd rather play with than you.

People pull heartstrings and break hearts,
People cheat to cover up truths, to keep their lies.
Always they will lie, they could try to tear us apart,
Little do they know, we've seen our doubts die.

It's not just because I love you, or because you love me,
It's not all as easy to explain as I make it seem.
I just know we were meant to be,
Do you know why, Hannah?
Because you and me make the perfect team.

We've all had our downfalls, the long lost darlings and dear,
But I have no fears in my mind when it comes to you.
I'm happier than most now that my vision is clear,
It's all because of you, you and those things that you do.

I've got your back and you've got mine,
We're going in hand-in-hand.
And now, together we'll walk the fine line,
Together we are, together we forever stand.

It may be scary at first glance,
This path may be hell in life's dream,
But it won't stand a chance.
