The Piece Poem by Shemsi Elsani

The Piece

Heart stop for a moment
Counting every single movements of that presence
Circulating mid-air, like a lost soul
Reaching for unreachable
To the deepest of the feeling
The very first of the beats

The emotions almost palpable
Thundering the heart that was very young
Searching for the meaning of that very piece
Could it be that strong?

Those little fingers of pre-pubescent
Trembling, reaching up for the unspoken
Staring at him lifeless
Shutting the world of existance
Why would it be so mean?

Tearing apart the only conection
Separating the world of two existance
Unreachable like a distance stars
Craving for those blueness of the eyes
Why would them be shuting so rigid?

Crusted of blood spilled the skin
Hiding the beauty of the creation
Tears that dried stuck them tight
Not to be removed for the world to see
Why would he being targeted?

That split seconds changed the world
Echoeing through out the entire nations
Spreading the injustice like a plague
Yet the world seems indifferent
Why would they still be smiling?

Those trembling fingers holding the piece
Took it close to the heart
There were tears that flowed
Engraving the scars that would've never healed
To be alive with the piece
The only thing could be connected
Till the end of the time
Why would it be so hurtful?
