The Pirate And His Treasure Poem by Eli MorenoDrew

The Pirate And His Treasure

A pirate searched for a treasure,
'Twas all he thought about.
He knew it'd bring him pleasure
And flustered, he let out a shout!
'If I find this rare, odd booty,
No hands upon it may I lay,
But if I don't see it's beauty
Perchance my want will fray! '
What's worse, he thought,
Than touching a hot fire?
Or should I seize my search
And stray from this desire.
