There's a place I long for—
A deeper calling from the deep,
A place of knowing my Father,
Of knowing Him intimately.
A safe, secure haven,
Where the world's noise fades away,
Where it's just Him—and me—
And living to please Him each day.
No striving for approval,
No hunger for empty praise,
Just the calm of His presence,
And the light of His gaze.
Oh, how I long for that place,
How my heart responds to the call,
How I ache to be in that stillness,
Surrendered, and giving Him all.
