The Potter Poem by Danielle CarbonWilson

The Potter

Night and day, in his temple
He molds us in His unyielding love,
He crafts each and every vessel,
With His blessings from up above.

No two vessels look alike;
We're each seen uniquely in His sight,
Molded, are we into beings of life,
With our own ultraviolet light

The Potter takes our immaculate souls,
And turns them on his circular wheel,
His circle of life where he binds and molds,
For us to know His perfect will.

Each vessel is a work of art,
Made in the labor of His grace.
He knows exactly what lies in our hearts,
As well as the silhouette of our face.

The Potter's eyes hold a majestic spark,
As He twists and turns each piece,
He shapes each curve, line and arc,
And then fills us with His peace.

No two souls are cast a duplicate,
No two shapes are the same,
But we all have mercy's blessed faith,
When we call upon His name.

The Potter is an artist and maker
He knows exactly what to do,
That is why He shaped and manifestered,
His image in me and you!
