The Powers Of St.George Poem by SHIJO GEORGE

The Powers Of St.George

The Powers of Saint George
By Shijo George

In armor clad with heaven's light,
He rode alone through storm and night.
His sword, a flame of justice true,
Cut through the dark where evil flew.

With lion's heart and eagle's eyes,
He saw beyond the earthly skies.
No fear could touch his steadfast soul,
For faith in Christ had made him whole.

He faced the dragon's fiery breath,
And dared the jaws of fiery death.
Not for pride or earthly prize,
But for the meek, the poor, the wise.

He bore the cross upon his shield,
A sign that none could make him yield.
With holy fire his hands were blessed—
To heal the sick, to calm unrest.

He speaks through time, in whispered flame,
To those who tremble, speak his name.
For still he rides in realms unseen,
Where saints and stars and swords convene.

So rise, O soul, when fear draws near—
Let courage triumph over fear.
In trials vast, when all seems lost,
Invoke the power of George's cross.
