The Prairie As Companion Poem by Pierre Rausch

The Prairie As Companion

Don't see how it could
And see how it's found
And than almost twenty
You can see some
Three cigarettes in a packet
Wether they would have
And throwing their plastic bags
Whatever may or may not
Which lay upright against
Brief activities
Congenital heart confirmation
Perhaps you'd go along
Melt of it's own accord
What did you make of the story
Not a lot to be honest
What am I supposed to say
Yet had been staring
Supposed to reconsider that chance
No matter what you make
Paused and said
What could you expect
Stand up and pose upon
Confided as much to
Who makes that decision
Was much more blasphemous
Conflicts of interest
A great deal no more
