The Princess And The Knight Poem by Patrick Barongan

The Princess And The Knight

Another battle to fight,
Another enemy to slay
It's too easy for this knight.
For I have a princess who I love
From her soft silky hair,
To the way I fly like a dove,
From just a glance,
For her I would die,
If only for a chance,
To see her smile that shines so bright
In my blood bath world
She's my only light.
So long have I wondered around
Finding the right person
For me to fight for their crown.
But from the countless queens I've met,
Theres none like this one
The one my heart is set.
Her beauty is unlike any I've seen,
And her popularity is huge
No wonder why she's a queen.
I remember day one,
When she spoke to me,
A grand masqure that was so fun.
Her voice was soft and beautiful,
And her heart was big and loving,
Thus I became ever so dutiful.
For my queen I would do anything
Since my love for her
Out ranks everything.
Her words can turn my day around
Her ways of doing things,
Can even turn over my frown.
To me she is what's left of my world
The rest of it means nothing
Its mixed and whirled.
She's all that matters,
And I will fight until,
All her enemies shatters.
I will break them for her,
Or save her
Whichever she'd prefer.
She is my Queen,
And I love her and die for her,
If you know what I mean.
