The Prophet - Poem by Joy Davis

Words spoken from my lips
from and my heart and soul
whispering your love

Your spirit raining down on me
salty tears falling from thine eyes
a sphere of sweet holiness
surrounds me completely

Broken hearts and confused minds
a land of sin and anger
overwhelms his heart
compassion and tears flow freely

They will certainly fall
into an unknown darkness
an empty bottomless pit
with holding our very lives
severe pain and evil
shall and rain.

A beautiful spirit
shining on the silver clouds
brightening my world
giving me hope and life
Dreams and hope
such a gift comes from
somwhere above.
