They - Poem by Joy Davis

they are sitting there
everywhere is dark
i think im alone
all alone in the dark

they are holding hands
everything is quiet
i think of the past
the past behind me

they are holding each other
everywhere is love
i think of my love
the love that's gone

they are in love
everywhere is only them
i think of the moments i had
the moments which have passed

they are perfect
everywhere is together
