The Purple Crocodile Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Purple Crocodile

Rating: 5.0

remember how daughter lost her
purple crocodile purse
how mama goes to the counter of the hotel
reporting the matter
how the receptionist asked her to fill up the form
and come back three days after
when the purple crocodile purse was just right there
visible in one of the counter's table
but which the receptionist took no action
saying three days is three days
nothing more nothing less.
