You left so slow, you left so light,
Like fading stars in morning's sight.
No sudden words, no last farewell,
Just emptiness where love once dwelled.
Yet silence speaks where voices fail,
It tells me all, it lifts the veil.
For though you're gone, though time moves on,
The love we had is never gone.
I close my eyes, I hear your name,
The world has changed, but feels the same.
Your gentle touch, though far away,
Still stays with me in night and day.
