The Race Within The Vein Poem by Gerry Legister

The Race Within The Vein

Be inspired to start where the magic dream lives.
By victory in the soul and arrows piercing the heart.
Adrenaline and adulation attract the accolades.
With pain and gain, every new adventure must start.

With the happiest inspired place of a cherished state.
Joy cavalcades the immersive rides with entire fun.
For our sake of fulfilling pleasurable time, may illustrate.
How the bow of anticipation makes our hearts yearn.

A cracking run feels the warmth evokes the thrill.
Every bounce wishes for the welcoming of spring.
A saga to leave the perilous freezing winter chill.
And recycled again, the agonies of twisting grin.

At the end of the day, your feet are messy and dirty.
But your eyes are sparkling, always with scenic routes,
Between the pines and the doorway to a new reality
You may escape into nature where real freedom hurts.

And when the deliberating weather does take a turn.
If we lose the grip and gasp breath in the pouring rain.
We can still win within and find the sweetest charm.
To let those weary emotions, slide beneath the pain.

When I am old, the pace will still be racing in my vein.
To make the memories explode again with laughter.
And remind the aching flame waiting on the brain.
How adulation and adrenaline was the ultimate victor.

And, if you carefully listen, you can hear the applause.
Make the air go still, and some adventures retreating.
images gradually fade and move away from the voices.
Till momentum click again with something inspiring.

The racing in the vein heals the anticipations remain.
When you launch out in faith to see in your own mind.
Either for the daring unseen or a new world full of gain,
It is not on any map the renewed places you will find.
