The Radiant Ones Poem by Savva Emanon

The Radiant Ones

In a world that rushes, sharp with noise and haste,
where hearts are trimmed to fit another's taste,
you stand, unhurried, gentle in your grace,
a lamp within the storm's unyielding face.

While others measure worth in gilded stone,
you whisper warmth to souls left cold, alone.
You lift the fallen not with grand decree,
but through the quiet art of empathy.

Each word you speak, a thread of tender gold,
restitching seams where others have grown old.
Your kindness is a bridge the weary cross,
your smile a lantern through the fields of loss.

And though this world may shrink what should be tall,
you, by your light, unmake the shadow's thrall,
teaching us all that one small act of care
can build a cathedral out of open air.
