The Rain Poem by Connie K Cameron

The Rain

I'm out in the desert
My heart is dry
My weakness surrounds me
No more tears left to cry

I look up toward the heaven
Lord can you feel my pain
The sky turns gray and cloudy
And down comes the rain

It's the living water
That opens up my eyes
It's the truth from Jesus
Washing away all the lies

If the truth is in me
There can be no compromise
No walking in darkness
No walking the line
Just serving my Savior
All of the time

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Depression is very hard, but Jesus is there for us, The Holy Spirit is there to wash us as white as snow.
