The Real Me Poem by harizal legend

The Real Me

You were there,
Wish I could be next to you,
If I can say a few words,
Make you laugh.

Too many times,
Pretending such you aren’t there,
Wait just if you will run to me,
When you smile at me waving...
You are so…
I stand still can’t react,
My response is dull,
What is going on with me?
Really I wanted to do more,
I’m sorry…

Each times I walk away,
Full of regrets,
If I make things better,
I’ll walk with joy.

Everyday,
Should I go now?
Is this the right time?
Thus I’ll meet you there.

What is the heck is going on with me,
You since the first time,
Will I ever forget?
Will you set me free?

Or is there will be a moment,
Our moment,
That moment…
You’ll see the real me...
