The Realization Moment Poem by Zunda Wezi Chibwe

The Realization Moment

The realization moment
It's in the wake of loss of time that we realize our flaws,
The charactoral defects that give our personality that huge blow,
Am too greedy, am too rude, am too cheesy, am too prude,
The realization moment as I would like to call it,
Brings depression and self uncertainty,
We seek refuge in words that bring comfort and personal clarity,
In this moment our denial is magnified,
Our bad decisions ideally justified,
Yet when all is thought out and remeneced,
The truth is that which remains to be faced,
The fact that we are not perfect or even close,
The absolution that has been the source of internal caios,
Eventually we reach temporal acceptance,
Some forfeit their perfection attainance,
But others continue to thrive,
In the end everyone that is alive
Will circle back to the moment of realization,
As that is life and living...
