The reason my heart still beats,
Because you hold it in your hand.
The reason that I don’t fall down,
Because you always help me stand.

The reason that I still breathe,
Because you take my breath away.
The reason that I can still hear,
Because “I love you”, that you say.

The reason that I can still see,
Because of your smiling face.
The reason that I still dream,
Because I’m taken to a magic place.

The reason that I don’t get lost,
Because you are my guiding light.
The reason that my life’s complete,
Because you just fit in so right.

The reason I haven’t gone astray,
Because of your love that I found.
The reason that my world is better,
Because you are my solid ground.
