The Rebel Warlord (Part 2) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

The Rebel Warlord (Part 2)

Tap root of Iroko
With subordinate primary and secondary
A long chain of command trunks
Bear branches of battalions
Composed of tender leaf soldiers
To fight a cause
They know not the origin
Suffer a cause
They are indifferent
And die a cause
That benefits nothing.
