The Red Pool Poem by Maangi Mongare Kevin

The Red Pool

Singing anthems in frozen rivers was cool
Till sun's rays kissed the forgotten pool
And if eyes could lie, mind blue could spell
But all huts ablaze, it was hot as hell
Season love did us compel to live
In hell of winter's huts we should leave
When pale pool was blood
And all rivers red from high to flood
Love froze
And woes arose.
