Beneath the cityscape or cool green pasture it meanders
Ever developing and ever changing
The horizon is dark today
Tomorrow it will be bright
I hope
The banks and lush vales or verges
Shape it
To an extent.
It has started way back and has been fertilised by the rain
Making it who it is
Creating a masterpiece.
I suppose,
Companionable streams accompany the river some go, and some remain, some even join along the line,
Ever ebbing.
It will survive through the cacophony and tumultuous streams of life.
Men bridge over to avoid it. A force a power It is now.
Beneath the cityscape and green earthen pastures, I meander, independently now.
Ever developing and ever changing.
The horizon is dark today. tomorrow it will be bright,
I hope.,
