The River - Poem by Federico del Corazón

You will never hear The River say
“It’s to hard to flow”

You will never hear The Stars say
“It’s to hard to shine bright”
You will never hear The Mountains say
“I can not touch the sky”

Talking to you
and loving you comes so naturall
That you will never hear me say any of these things

Your love flows through me like a river
My eyes shine so bright like the stars
You keep me on an ultimate high

Kiss me before I wake again
And realize that it is just a dream
That you are there and I am here

The time is right
Right now
But our hour has not passed

I count the seconds
Like they are grains of sand
Longing to be in your embrace

Pour into me
Consume me
I am yours
