The River Flies Away rahman Mazid translated By Jashim Uddin

The river flies away
Rahman Majid

Time! He is the long rope hanging on the pendulum of the circus
On which the foot presses and walks with sharp caution
Trained life.
And life?
It is a billow river flowing over a boat
Whose ears are chained and dragged away by the middle group.
See the boat anchored on the shore by shore
The river overflowed.
Sometimes the river comes and sits on my lap
I kiss him, caress him with joy
Suddenly he became a cat and flew into the sky
I then hid my face in the white fence.
