The Road Poem by andrea fertig

The Road

Life is like a road
You're walkig down the road and everything looks fine
You walk around the corner and BOOM
You're in the middle of something you don't even want to be in.
As you get away you see a calm and peaceful road ahead, unlike what you just walked out of.
Then all of the sudden there is nothing but potholes and broken edge lines.
All you want to do is be on a calm and peaceful road again.
Yes, there will be holes and crakes in the road,
fix the ones you can and replace the ones you can't.
Your road may never be new again, until you comepletely replace it.
Just patch up what you can and try to get more of the road for yourself so you can have a better road than what you were on.
You have two things to worry about: The support, and the weight.
Not enough or to much will make it collapse.
So you better hope that your road is secure.
