The Rodeo Bull Poem by Billy Simmons

The Rodeo Bull

Rating: 4.8

Its dangerous, respectfully, and powerfully,
I admire it with all my heart.
And to think that back then,
I didn't know what made me start.
It's totally, different than me,
But if you look real deep.
Maybe you'll see.
It has the power and strength.
To do whatever it wants.
But the ways of this world,
Will forever taunt.
He's held back by fences;
Indeed so am I.
For a whole eight seconds,
You may see his cry.
Look deep in his eyes,
And you will see his soul.
You will know then,
You are never in control.
Only able to ride him out;
As others wonder,
What it's all about.
