The Rollercoaster Poem by Jayeeta Bhattacharya

The Rollercoaster

Rating: 5.0

Tears roll across the face
A face full of innocence
A maiden desire beaming
In her eyes, a preface towards
The journey of unfind love.

The train is running
Slaughtering through the night
The guard keeps awake
Shivering in solitude
While others are far asleep
Dreaming fancy follies
As many as the strains
Fall apart on the lone poor soul.

The pastures move, the grey
Sky falls, of miseries, many
Two owls and rats seek
our harnesses in vain.
The planet runs fatigued
Towards a new red sun.

Again and again and again.....
