like ancient Aurora,
i wear my nimbus with a smirk
tipped to the side
you nudge it back in place
with the curve of your lips
conjured from my
overactive imagination,
your goddess of the dawn
i masquerade in darkness
primordial halo
cast on jagged rocks
before i honed the art
of artificial happiness
yet, the grin i grant you
cant recall wings that bled out
leaving inky feathers on my flesh
it knows only
the aura my skin oozes
at your demanding touch
say you'll be my Eos
i'll wear you like a crown
vibrational vapor
ceding to my touch
i surrender into the addiction
of your esoteric command
