The Savior Will Never Come Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Savior Will Never Come

He will never come—rest assured.
In Jewish tradition, the Messiah is awaited;
Christians await the return of Jesus;
Muslims speak of the Mahdi.
And so, humanity waits…
And so, wars are waged, hearts burdened with expectation.
But waiting, longing, praying…
Perhaps they will never come.
Yet the world continues,
And life unfolds, not for them, but through us.
