I'm a child, in a grown body
My pain and tears are hidden behind these brown eyes
I have scars you can not see
I have dreams I dare not speak
I hide in the dark trying not to make a peep
I push people away so they can't See
the scared little girl that hides inside of me
A child who can't breath, who can no longer speak
A child who's scared to trust, afraid to love
She shakes uncontrollably, she cries when things get to much
She hides with in me, behind these eyes, just beneath the skin
You may have seen her, you may have heard her cries
You may not like her, but you care enough to try
This sad little girl, must move on and say good bye
