The Scenes Of Spring Poem by Jaidev Jaidev

The Scenes Of Spring

The scenes of spring
------

I can smell life.
Emerging quietly around me.
In the scenes of spring.

The call of a robin.
The warbling of a lark.
The anticipatory buzz of a bee.
Butterflies on the move.

Drops of dew not frosted.

As
Green appears out of brown and white.
Forming carpets and drapes.
Hosting the finest bouquets you've ever seen.

Nature awakening.
Elegantly stretching out of frozen slumber.
Earth donning her best adornments.
Looking into the mirror of the warming blue skies.
As if trying to outdo herself.
In this new cycle.

Energizing humankind into action.
In the fresh early morning of the year.

I can smell life.
Emerging quietly everywhere around me.
In the scenes of spring.
