The Sea Poem by Shivangi Choudhary

The Sea

I sit next to the sea,
See its tides---high tides.
I talk to it, it understands me
We have the same plight.
The sea, I see is not beautiful
It takes a ton of plastic in it, a lot of dreary deposits.
I am no different.
My intake of excessive toxic is unendurable
But I follow the sea
And take it calmly.
The breeze that touches my face, gives me a kiss
Makes me feel like I become one with the sea
Then it talks to me and says
"Life is a sea and all have already immersed in it"
