The Sea - Poem by Nim Lee

The sea is dancing for me
Rising and fallling
Twisting and swaying
In time to the rhythmic sound of her own beat.
A sudden flurry and the lace of her petticoat froths out and up
Then she pretends to run away, as if shy;
But she is provocative,
She peeps top see if I am watching,
And she comes creeping up towards me
Rising and Falling
Twisting and swelling,
In time to the eternal sound of her own music.
