The Seasons Of The Heart Poem by ashok jadhav

The Seasons Of The Heart

When spring returned with tender light,
My heart awoke from silent pain;
Like buds that trust the warming sun,
I dared to hope and dream again.
In summer's blaze my spirit burned,
With restless wants and fierce desire;
The days were long, the nights were loud,
My thoughts ran quick like fields on fire.
Then came the rains of monsoon hours,
When skies wept out their hidden load;
So too my heart released its grief,
And cleansed the weight it long had bore.
In autumn winds I learned to part
With things once loved, now meant to fall;
The fading leaves, the softer light
Taught grace in loss, and peace with all.
When winter wrapped the world in hush,
My soul lay still in thoughtful cold;
Yet in that pause of barren days
I felt a strength, though quiet, bold.
Thus moves my heart with sun and storm,
With leaf and frost, with bloom and sleep;
The seasons teach what words cannot—
That change is life, and life is deep.
