The Secret Love By Saeed Gomez Poem by Saeed Gomez

The Secret Love By Saeed Gomez

Like frozen grass, the heart needs fire to melt its glass.
The breadth of a thousand men, the lungs ignite like the thunderous sky.
Step by step, raindrop by raindrop, the soul manifest' a body.
How wild and untamable the spirit of men, how vicious like firestorms yet the cool winds bring its gentle side.
Will you know it's secret, how deep its rabbit hole goes.
What psalm or proverb can calm a mighty man, how will he take the life and flow of the land he owns thereof.
Like the coldness of the mountain, the Lord marvels at his children.
Like a husband, he guards his fortress.
Where is the law, how can it save you from his lips, if one dares arouse his heartfelt meaning.
How weary can flesh be, yet he uplifts the broken spirit.
For a mans ways are of the lords just like when a man fails God it is not for a deadly purpose but for a valuable lesson learned.
The valleys move the mountains move the oceans move the skies.
Where can man plant his foot if it's not for the Lords delight.
How the heavens unite like a brave unit they launch strategically to the defense of the Lords palaces.
Wellsprings cannot outpour enough the richness of his glory.
How thick the wisdom and healing power overtake the little ones
How miracles refresh the body of Christ through hope in the name.
How little is my stature compared to his mighty angels.
How plentiful are his balms and how deep do his aloes smooth the skin
Like living sacrifices do his springs bring perfumes and wines from the best pits of adoration for his majesty.
I swear the dream is not far off, how he waits for his beloved.
Soon his goodness we shall taste at its tender timing.
