The elderly lay dead in their beds, to feed the flies
The inflicted and addicted lay wasting Gods time
Innocence lay silent in bed, while uncle’s given head
Whilst the insolent rich lay on their golden egg
Remind me again of why we’re here
Cause I’m struggling with this constant fear
Remind me again of why we’re here
Cause I can’t eat bacon or drink my beer
I shout and scream in my shattered dream
At the indifferent, the lazy, wanton and unclean
To know avail as my dreams unanswered
For my bones are old and my body is cancered
