The Shaken Man Poem by Vadakkumpurath Ramesan

The Shaken Man

I was shattered
I was shaken
I was ruined
I was abandoned
I was stranded
I was in murky mind
That lost peace
And the tranquility
The schedule going hay- wire
With me dilly-dally
Stripped of the decorations
Of the serene mind
And moved high and dry
And foisted to choke
Back tears in agony
With the willy-nilly
That none can defer
Nor can alter
The fate that plan
That guesstimate
The human ambitions
The vibrant desires
Taking away the pomp
And gaiety of life!
