The Sheep Poem by mike hill

The Sheep

the sheep
up high on a mountain top
pass the clouds over looking the land
stands a sheep all alone
how it got there is a mystery all its own
at night it cries in loneliness
but there no one to here it's call
all the people can here from down below
is a very week echo
with nowhere to go with nothing to eat
the sheep can't take no more
it walks toward the edge lifts it feet in the air
as it about to take a leap
when out of the blue a man comes to help
the sheep looks at him then smiles
he helps the sheep down who is greeted by a crowed
then treat to a feast
the sheep when all out
as his stomach was filled right up
as he dropped a tear from his eye
when he was done
he took one last look at the crowed
then went on his marry way
this is the story of the sheep
who slept walk to the top of the peak
and a man who stopped the sheep from jumping off
this story lives on through the kids in the town
thanks to them this story will never end
