The Shoe Poem by Erica Lynn

The Shoe

What are you saying?
I want to know too!
Now you are yelling!
You are making me blue.

Now you forget me?
Sorry but its true.
The sadness inside;
it just grew an inch or two.

How can you not care?
I drew this for you.
At least look at it!
So what if it is a shoe?
I drew this for you.

I was obandoned
at age two
at the time the sadness inside;
it was bigger than the shoe.
Bigger than the shoe
I drew just for you.
