The Shore Poem by kara towe

The Shore

Lapping and swirling water splashes.
Shifting particles of sand sparkle.
Trillions of percolating bubbles fizz.
Crashing waves of white foam roar forever rolling into shore.
They stretch out then pull back, fold and over lap.
Seagulls glide in the salty breeze.
Reflective light shimmers upon the swells.
A refreshing mist dances through the air.
The aroma of fresh seaweed is in the air and it is laced on the shore here and there.
Shells from the deep are uncovered.
Come weary souls and I will ease your burdens.
Your troubles I will wash away.
Your secrets I will keep.
I will lift your spirit.
I will renew your hope.
Watch the sunset into my depths and take in my glory.
