The Sickness Poem by Ellie Hallie

The Sickness

The feeling burrowed so deep inside,
I cannot just, sit beside.
It suffocates me when I’m weak,
It is what makes me so very sick.

My muscles ache,
My throat is thin.
But I try to fake,
Not let illness win.
