The Silence - Poem by Roxanne Grady

Here I sit
In a room so
Dark.
And
Gloomy.
Wondering who I am
And what I've become
The silence haunts me
Ever so softly.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I wrote this poem during a time in my life when I felt like the world was slowly closing in on me. I was depressed, and was in a very bad place emotionally.

A lovely poem that so expresses how you feel. Some day you will look back and know the value of your life and then you will write that. Read mine - Who am I -
